Expansão e territorialização de infraestruturas portuárias no Brasil e na Amazônia Legal (1993 a 2022)

Resumo

A produção de infraestruturas é, sobretudo, uma forma de criar orientações, organizações espaciais e modos de conectividade, servindo como um impulsionador da movimentação, na circulação de mercadorias, dinheiro e informações. Por isso, as duas últimas décadas foram marcadas por fluxos de capitais, políticas e planejamentos estatais, por meio de investimentos em infraestruturas, notadamente na América Latina, África e Ásia. O Brasil foi o país onde houve significativos aportes em infraestrutura, na área de energia, transportes e comunicação. Contudo, com hidrelétricas e a produção de complexos portuários, como fontes mais materializadas de políticas e ações no Brasil, em particular na Amazônia Legal. Face a isso, o artigo tem o objetivo de mapear e analisar a expansão, a territorialização de infraestruturas portuárias no Brasil e na Amazônia Legal, entre 1993 e 2022; assim como objetiva identificar e analisar os setores e agentes econômicos que promoveram tal territorialização, notadamente na Amazônia Legal.
