EXPERIÊNCIA EM TEATRALIDADES INDÍGENAS CONTEMPORÂNEAS: UM DIÁLOGO COM TIZIANO CRUZ NO FESTIVAL DE AVIGNON

Resumo

Este artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre experiências de teatralidades indígenas no teatro contemporâneo, considerando os polos artístico e estético. Partiu-se de um diálogo com o espetáculo Soliloquio de Tiziano Cruz, apresentado no 78º Festival de Avignon (França-2024). Para analisar questões que emanam de Soliloquio, partiu-se da experiência do espetáculo, considerando a experiência estética do autor e de entrevistados, bem como a experiência do artista (seja através de sua expressão no espetáculo ou de suas visões expressas em entrevistas e artigos). Para realizar tal operação, recorreu-se especialmente ao método auto etnográfico, com a realização de pesquisa bibliográfica, entrevistas com o artista e com espectadores, anotações em diários, vídeos e fotos. Considerando os diálogos empreendidos com o espetáculo foi possível refletir sobre alguns temas que transpassam a experiência da teatralidade indígena na atualidade.

EXPERIENCE IN CONTEMPORARY INDIGENOUS THEATRICALITY: A DIALOGUE WITH TIZIANO CRUZ AT THE AVIGNON FESTIVAL

Abstract

This article aims to reflect about the indigenous theatricality experience in the contemporary theater, considering the artistic and aesthetic poles. It started by the dialogue with the performance Soliloquio by Tiziano Cruz, presented at the 78th Avignon Festival (France - 2024). To analyze issues arising from Soliloquio, it proposes a reflection about the theatre’s experience, considering the aesthetic experience of the author and of the interviewees, as well as the of the artist’s experience (whether through his expression in the play or his views expressed in interviews and articles). To carry out this operation, the autoethnographic method was used, with bibliographic research, interviews with the artist and spectators, diary entries, videos and photos. Considering the dialogues undertaken with the show, it was possible to reflect about some themes that influences the experience of indigenous theatricality today.
