DEVIR-CORPO-AMBIENTE: O CORPO ENTREMEADO NAS RELAÇÕES MULTIESPÉCIE DA EXPRESSIVIDADE ARTÍSTICA

Resumo

O presente artigo considera o corpo sob atravessamentos discursivos que o situam para além de exclusivamente biológico, mas, também, discursivo, utilizando, como aporte teórico de alguns conceitos foucaultianos. Buscando acentuar os contornos dessa argumentação apostam-se que as expressões artísticas dos artistas manauaras Uýra Sodoma e Rodrigo Braga, do grupo sergipano de performance urbana Inflamáveis e da artista cubana Ana Mendieta tensionam o corpo em novos sentidos que adquirem materialidades outras, mais por meio das forças e das intensidades que os encetam do que por meio das formas que os estagnam. Defende-se que nessa perspectiva tais materialidades podem (re)orientar um regime de sensível capaz de levar em conta a presença de demais entes, que não apenas humanos.

BECOMING BODY-ENVIRONMENT: THE BODY INTERTWINED IN THE MULTI-SPECIES RELATIONS OF ARTISTIC EXPRESSIVENESS

Abstract

This article considers the body under discursive intersections that place it beyond a material platform, using some Foucauldian concepts as a theoretical framework. Seeking to accentuate the contours of this argument, it posits that the artistic expressions of the Manaus-based artists Uýra Sodoma and Rodrigo Braga, the Sergipe-based urban performance group Inflamáveis, and the Cuban artist Ana Mendieta, tension the body in new senses that acquire other materialities, more through the forces and intensities that initiate them than through the forms that stagnate them. It argues that, from this perspective, such materialities can (re)orient a regime of the sensible capable of taking into account the presence of other entities, not just humans.
