UMA HISTORIOGRAFIA PARA AS DANÇAS BRASILEIRAS: POSSIBILIDADES

Resumo

Este ensaio busca lançar um olhar sobre alguns percursos construídos, não necessariamente, como uma historiografia nos moldes tradicionais e suficientemente ampla, mas esforços de registro e preservação sobre uma memória, para além daquela registrada nos corpos dos executantes que dão vida ao fazer dança em nosso país. Constata-se a utilização de diferentes processos metodológicos a partir da formação diversa dos pesquisadores e pesquisadoras responsáveis, entrelaçando-se diferentes áreas de conhecimento: Artes Cênicas, Educação, Comunicação e Semiótica, Antropologia, Sociologia, Educação Física, Vídeo e História. Assim, tento construir meu olhar sobre essa produção e como a mesma tem se relacionado com o campo da Arte/Educação.

A HISTORIOGRAPHY FOR BRAZILIAN DANCES: POSSIBILITIES

Abstract

This essay seeks to take a look at some of the paths that have been constructed, not necessarily as a historiography in the traditional and sufficiently broad mold, but as efforts to record and preserve a memory beyond that recorded in the bodies of the performers who give life to dance in our country. We note the use of different methodological processes based on the diverse training of the researchers responsible, intertwining different areas of knowledge: Performing Arts, Education, Communication and Semiotics, Anthropology, Sociology, Physical Education, Video and History. Thus, I attempt to construct my view of this production and how it has related to the field of Art/Education.
