| 4. | Description | Abstract | Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar atividades que compõe o livro didático de Língua portuguesa, buscando verificar se a elaboração das mesmas é feita com base nos conceitos de Linguística Aplicada. A metodologia está pautada na revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema, visto que ela permite a observação de aspectos conceituais, de conteúdo e de relevância da produção, bem como dos padrões da construção científica e das considerações pertinentes à investigação e pesquisa documental em livros didáticos de Língua Portuguesa do 9° ano do ensino fundamental. A seleção dos livros didáticos foi feita com base nos seguintes critérios: estruturação, bases teóricas, relevância do conteúdo. A análise das obras nos permite concluir que a oportunidade de conhecer e comparar a estrutura que compõe os livros didáticos, amparados pela Linguística Aplicada, possibilita-nos tecer reflexões quanto às concepções linguísticas que são importantes ao processo de construção e organização do livro didático. ANALYSIS OF THE ACTIVITIES PROPOSED IN PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE BOOKS OF THE 9TH YEAR OF FUNDAMENTAL EDUCATION: A STUDY BASED ON THE APPLIED LANGUAGE This research aims to analyze activities that make up the portuguese language textbook, intending to verify if their elaboration is based on the concepts of Applied Linguistics. The methodology is based on the bibliographic review on the topic, since it allows the observation of conceptual aspects, content and relevance of production, as well as of the patterns of scientific construction and of the considerations relevant to documentary research and research in Portuguese Language textbooks 9th grade of elementary school. The selection of textbooks was made based on the following criteria: structure, theoretical bases, content relevance. The analysis of the works allows us to conclude that the opportunity to know and compare the structure that makes up the textbooks, supported by Applied Linguistics, allows us to weave reflections on the linguistic conceptions that are important to the construction and organization process of the textbook.
