A Relação das Instituições com o Progresso Tecnológico e o Crescimento Econômico

Resumo

O artigo é um survey sobre a relação das instituições com o progresso tecnológico e o crescimento econômico com o intuito de denotar a importância das especificidades de cada Estado para o seu desenvolvimento institucional. O governo é considerado peça fundamental para guiar o processo de formação e transformação do atual quadro institucional, cabendo aos formuladores de política a responsabilidade de construir um ambiente propício para o crescimento econômico. Por fim, políticas econômicas que não são elaboradas em consonância com o contexto de cada nação são criticadas por negligenciarem fatores institucionais.
