ELF GALERIA: CRIAÇÃO E RESSONÂNCIA NO SISTEMA DAS ARTES VISUAIS NOS ANOS DE 1980-1999, EM BELÉM (PA)

Objeto de pesquisa é a constituição da trajetória da ELF Galeria de Arte, intercruzada com a biografia de Gileno Müller Chaves (1943-2006), galerista e marchand, criador deste espaço cultural na cidade de Belém, em 1981. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como estudo de caso, de natureza qualitativa, que tem como fonte de pesquisa o acervo diverso sobre a guarda da Galeria. Apresentamos as trajetórias do galerista e da Elf Galeria, com ênfase nos anos de 1980-1990, observando as ressonâncias deste espaço cultural ao sistema das Artes Visuais em Belém e as ações educativas ou de formação em arte empreendidas por Chaves.

Abstract

Object of research is the constitution of the trajectory of elf Galeria de Arte intercruzada with the biography of Gileno Muller Chaves (1943-2006), gallerist and marchand, creator of this cultural space in the city of Belém in 1981. The research is characterized as a case study, of a qualitative nature that has as a research source the diverse collection on the guard of the Gallery. We present the trajectories of the gallerist and elf galeria, emphasis in the years 1980-1990, observing the resonances of this cultural space to the Visual Arts system in Belém and the educational or art training actions undertaken by Chaves.
