FICUS OU FIAR-COM FIGUEIRAS

Resumo

O presente artigo busca investigar poeticamente as implicações teórico-afetivas de um trabalho artístico denominado Ficus, que consiste, em linhas gerais, em tessituras com figueiras localizadas em diferentes lugares do Rio de Janeiro. A partir da aproximação da artista com essas majestosas árvores, criam-se alianças afetivas, isto é, relações “que pressupõe[m] afetos entre mundos não iguais” (Krenak, 2022, p.82). A experiência se desdobra através da crítica à visão de mundo moderno-colonial, que separa natureza/cultura, sujeito/objeto etc., em direção ao reencantamento do mundo e a uma ontologia relacional e multiespécie, que, por sua vez, reinventa concepções de lar e de família. As reflexões são tecidas com autores como Ailton Krenak, Emanuele Coccia, Luiz Antônio Simas e Luiz Rufino, Anna Tsing, Donna Haraway, dentre outros.

FICUS OR WEAVE WITH FIG TREES

Abstract

This article seeks to poetically investigate the theoretical-affective implications of an artistic work called Ficus, which consists, in general terms, of weavings with fig trees located in different places in Rio de Janeiro. From the artist's proximity to these majestic trees, affective alliances are created, that is, relationships “that presuppose affections between unequal worlds” (Krenak, 2022, p. 82). The experience unfolds through the critique of the modern-colonial worldview, which separates nature/culture, subject/object, etc., towards a reenchantment of the world and a relational and multispecies ontology, which, in turn, reinvents conceptions of home and family. The reflections are woven with authors such as Ailton Krenak, Emanuele Coccia, Luiz Antônio Simas and Luiz Rufino, Anna Tsing, Donna Haraway, among others.
