ABYA YALA, A TERRITORY OF RESISTANCE TO KARAÍ: A FEMININE EXISTÊNCIA IN THE WRITTEN OF DANIEL MUNDURUKU
Abstract
In this study, I discuss formulations about the erasure of ancestral voices in Abya Yala and the need to reconfigure our perspective on traditions and our way of naming things, beings, and the world in an attempt to bring female voices to the surface in contemporary works. O Karaíba: uma história do pré-brasil, by Daniel Munduruku, reflects on the historical erasure of female voices and how literature seeks, due to the transcontemporary subjective turn, to formulate the resistance of female existences among original peoples by analyzing the role of the characters Potyra and Maraí to formulate the defense of the original peoples in the face of the imminent arrival of the Karaí.
