The research group Resistance Narrative Studies (NARRARES), registered with the CNPq since 2005, launched its scientific journal in 2023, the result of years of work disseminating research in Literary Studies, at the Federal University of Pará. It invites everyone to To get to know our magazine, we publish every six months articles by researchers, scientific initiation articles, reviews, interviews, art objects and translations, resulting from research carried out by its members and which are in several Brazilian institutions.

Journal of the Resistance Narrative Studies Research Group at the Federal University of Pará.

The research group Narrative Studies of Resistance (NARRARES), was created in 2005, by PhD. Tânia Sarmento-Pantoja, was initially called Research Group on Portuguese Language Literature Studies. In 2008, the group was renamed NARRARES, focused on reflecting on the various forms of narratives that resist the authoritarianism of states, especially the authoritarianism imposed by the civil-military dictatorships imposed on Latin American countries in the second half of the 20th century.

Narrares journal, published twice a year, free of charge, aims to be a space for hosting scientific articles, in a continuous flow, with double-blind evaluation, with themes linked to various resistance movements, be they political, artistic and/or or cultural. With an important concern to emerge contemporary debates and reflect on various exceptional historical experiences.
