DIALOGUES BETWEEN INDIGENOUS PEOPLES AND RELIGIOSITY IN “ME LLAMO RIGOBERTA MENCHÚ Y ASÍ NACIÓ MI CONSCIENCIA” E “CUENTOS AMAZÓNICOS”

Marcelo Ferreira Pereira

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to relate possible dialogues between indigenous peoples and religiosity present in sections of the works Me llamo Rigoberta Menchú y así nació mi consciencia (2007) and Cuentos Amazônicos (2014). To this end, we seek to establish an interlocution between the experiences of the characters transcribed throughout the study. Through textual analysis, we hope to reflect on how indigenous peoples are known and how their religiosity is visualized.
