Resumo
This interview with Tito Prates, renowned Brazilian biographer of Agatha Christie, explores his methodological approach to documenting Christie's life and contributions to detective fiction. Prates reflects on the academic rigor required in accessing previously undisclosed archival materials and the challenges of authoring an original biography in Portuguese. Insights are provided into Christie’s narrative techniques, her influence on global literature, and the reception of her works in Brazil.
