ABORDAGENS SOBRE A CONDIÇÃO DE CLASSE DAS JUVENTUDES DA AMAZÔNIA

Abstract

Este trabalho analisa a inserção da(s) juventude(s) amazônica(s) no contexto social e a sua condição de classe. Como problema de pesquisa buscamos compreender: qual a condição de classe das juventudes da Amazônia, a partir da análise de dados oficiais sobre a(s) juventude(s) no estado do Pará? Para tanto, mediante a realização de pesquisa documental e a coleta de dados oficiais, foram organizadas as seguintes categorias de análise: Juventude urbana e violência; Juventude amazônida: trabalho/emprego e rendimentos; e Juventude amazônida e educação. A análise documental revelou que a juventude de origem trabalhadora paraense está fortemente submetida à violência urbana inclusive sob conseqüências fatais, possui uma inserção precoce e desqualificada no mercado de trabalho e que a escola não se coloca como uma alternativa capaz de promover uma formação mais humanizante a estes jovens.

APPROACHES ABOUT THE CLASS CONDITION OF YOUTH IN THE AMAZON

This paper analyzes the insertion of Amazonian youth (s) in the social context and their class status. As a research problem, we seek to understand: what is the class condition of youth in the Amazon, based on the analysis of official data on youth (s) in the state of Pará? To this end, through the conduct of documentary research and the collection of official data, the following categories of analysis were organized: Urban youth and violence; Amazon youth: work/employment and income; and Amazon youth and education. The documentary analysis revealed that the youth of Pará working origin is strongly subjected to urban violence even under fatal consequences, has an early and disqualified insertion in the labor market and that the school does not place itself as an alternative capable of promoting a more humanizing training these young people.
